Sit & String Thursdays!
Come enjoy Sit & String Thursdays from 6-8 PM. Every Thursday evening, we invite you to come design and make beautiful jewelry right in the store. If you're new to beading, Genevieve will give you plenty of design tips and demo finishing techniques, so you can create with confidence! If you're more experienced, then just come and join us with your projects - it's a great way to make projects in the company of others!If that weren't exciting enough - we'll also be hosting Trunk Shows on Sit & String Thursdays, featuring handmade beads from talented artists.
- Saturday, October 24, 2009: Caitlin Hyde Caitlin lives in Corning, New York and has been making lampworked glass beads and small sculpture since 1996. Her background in illustration, textile design and love of high contrast, rhythmic pattern are evident in her pictorial beads and assembled figurative work.
