Sit & String Thursdays!
Come enjoy Sit & String Thursdays from 6-8 PM. Every Thursday evening, we invite you to come design and make beautiful jewelry right in the store. If you're new to beading, Genevieve will give you plenty of design tips and demo finishing techniques, so you can create with confidence! If you're more experienced, then just come and join us with your projects - it's a great way to make projects in the company of others!If that weren't exciting enough - we'll also be hosting Trunk Shows on Sit & String Thursdays, featuring handmade beads from talented artists.
- April 10: Joe Forestall, will bring his spiral pendants and even some furnace glass work that he has created.
- May 1: Kevin Englemann, from Queen City Lampworks, will bring his recent collection of boro pendants and beads.
- May 8: Donna Young and Laura Merkelo, two local artists getting together to show you a variety of lampwork beads.
- June 5: Jennifer Whitney will show you a wonderful selection of colorful Effetre beads - there's something suitable for any beader!
- July 10: Stephanie Sersich, will bring her distinctive glass pendants, beads and unique jewelry.
