Bead Gallery Gives Back
From time to time, we will create pieces that are donated to help raise funds for various charities. Here are some examples of those pieces.
This necklace, called Anahita's Necklace - Lady of the Water, was made for the ISGB to auction off to raise money for CERF.
This piece was actually inspired by the Persian Goddess, Anahita. She is a divinity of water and wisdom. I made the necklace using herringbone and right angle weave stitches. The focal is a bead made by glass artist, Harold William Cooney. My hope is that the wearer will find her inner goddess and like, Anahita, will be bountiful to those who please her and stern to those who do not! - Genevieve
